Feared Talon operative on the loose
In recent monthsOverwatchplayers have spoken in hushed tones about the identity of Doomfist, believed to be the next character joining the popular arena-shooter’s roster. Anyone who has seen the carnage in the airport of the Numbani map can attest to the destruction he will bring to game.
Blizzard have released a new statement, worded as always in the form of a fictional news bulletin, casting some light on the mysterious newcomer. Revealing his true identity as Akande Ogundimu, the statement explains how Doomfist was broken out of custody by the nefarious Talon organisation, who are associated with assassins Reaper and Widowmaker, among other reprobates.
We are yet to see any visuals of the character, or get a definitive date for him to join theOverwatchroster, but this essentially confirms that the Doomfist is loose, he’s coming, and he’spissed.
