Title breaks out of Greenlight purgatory in record time

Mouldy Toof, the developer behind the small adventure gameSpud’s Quest, has shown off the idea for its new title,The Escapists. The Escapistsputs players in the shoes of a prison inmate desperate to make a break for freedom, and though it is another low budget project, it has already resonated with enough of the audience to achieve some amount of success.

It reached its relatively lowKickstarterfunding goal of₤3,000 with weeks to spare. More impressively, it made it through the Steam Greenlight process after having been up for voting for only four days. At the very least, that shows proficiency:The Escapistsknows how to escape what has essentially been a dungeon for other indie titles.
