Tom Holland dons the dirty shirt
According to Tinseltown outletThe Hollywood Reporter,Sony’s movie adaptation ofUnchartedis set for a December 2020 release, bringing all of the exotic adventure and high action of Naughty Dog’s video game franchise to the big screen.
The film will see your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, Tom Holland, step into the well-trodden boots ofUnchartedhero Nathan Drake. Played during his formative years, fans will see a younger iteration of Drake as he learns the exploration and archaeology game from his mentor Sully.
Behind the camera is director Dan Trachtenberg, whose biggest credit is claustrophobic thriller10 Cloverfield Lane, and writer Joe Carnahan, who has written previous action moviesThe A-Team and Death Wishand is currently adaptingThe Raidfor a western remake.
