I got called a lot of rude names, so business as usual

This weekend, pre-order customers for the PS4 and Xbox One editions ofMortal Kombat 11were given the opportunity to find themselves neck-deep in the wanton violence and clothes-ruining viscera of NetherRealm Studios’ upcoming sequel. Five characters were on offer, alongside a short single-player tower and Vs. online battles, letting fans get a peek at the long-running series’ newest entry.

It seems a lot of people spent a lot of time decapitating their fellow man/woman/Tarkatan. I myself saw players who had racked upwards of 500 online fights, while YouTube is already full of basic combo videos and tech ideas. My full thoughts on the beta will be coming soon, but for now let’s hear what some of you bloodthirsty psychos thought of this slice of whatMK 11has to offer.

How do you find the visuals, audio and gameplay? Any characters sticking out to you? What do you think of new mechanics such as Krushing and Fatal Blow, or the omission of favourites such as the Pop-Up Punch and the Run ability? What was your online experience and how do you feel about the beta overall? Whether positive, negative, or still on the fence, drop us your thoughts in the comments below. I’m very interested in hearing them.
