If you’ve ever had a pet mouse, rat, or guinea pig, then you’ll likely have a good understanding of their recommended diet, which will go a long way in determining what a Capybara wants to chow down on. It’s usually a basic diet of vegetables and plants, which also goes for Capybaras inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
Loved food:
A Capybara’s favorite food is Cabbage, which is a type of crop that can be purchased either ready to use or in seed form from Goofy’s Stall in the Wild Tangle. Ready to use, a single Cabbage will cost 256 Star Coins. If you want to save some money and grow your own, seeds can be purchased for 150 Star Coins, with the resulting Cabbage needing to be watered twice and ready to pick after one hour.

Thankfully, Capybaras are one of the easiest and most laid-back critters, and you don’t need to play any games to provide them with food. Simply walk directly up to them and interact with them, and they’ll gladly take whatever food you’re willing to give.
How to unlock Capybara companions in Disney Dreamlight Valley
By feeding a Capybara three times across three separate days, you will unlock that design of Capybara as a companion.
