Kuro Games has officially confirmed theWuthering Waves2.2 banners. The new update will introduce a 5-star Havoc Resonator named Cantarella. Furthermore, you can look forward to the rerun banners of 2 popular characters from the Black Shores.
New character and rerun banners in Wuthering Waves 2.2
Phase I
The first phase of Wuthering Waves 2.2 will begin on Jul 30, 2025, and will feature the following characters:
The version 2.2 livestream revealed most of Cantarella’s abilities and it is safe to say that she is a strong character.Cantarella is an amazing supportas she can heal her party members, apply crowd control on enemies, and buff the incoming Resonator’s Resonance Skill and Havoc DMG. Furthermore, she can perform coordinated attacks, making her an amazing sub-DPS unit in teams with Camellya.
Speaking of Camellya, she will also get her first rerun in the first phase of Wuthering Waves 2.2. She is an amazing damage dealer so you can get her if you need a good DPS unit.
In addition to the 5-star characters, you’re able to pull the following weapons from the limited-time weapon banner:
Whispers of Sirens is Cantarella’s signature weapon, while Red Spring is Camellya’s signature.
Phase II
The second phase of the upcoming version 2.2 update will feature only one 5-star rerun banner:
Shorekeeper will finally get her first rerun in the second half of version 2.2. She is arguably the best support in the game that can provide a good amount of healing and grant Crit buffs to her party members.
Shorekeeper’s signature weapon, Stellar Symphony, will also be available on the weapon banner during the second half of Wuthering Waves 2.2.
Unfortunately, their banners will be shorter since the developers have confirmed that version 2.2’s duration will be shorter than usual and version 2.3 will arrive early.
