Xbox One gets discount + $50 gift code at Microsoft Store again

Microsoft probably should have checked the calendar when it started upthis Xbox One sale, but for those who don’t care or need to have it in time for Christmas, this deal is rock solid. For a limited time, the Microsoft Store is once again offering a gift code with the purchase of any Xbox One bundles. The value is now $50 (vs. the $60 during Black Friday), and on top of that you’ll get a choice of a free game from a selection of three older titles.

The more popular bundles are sold out (e.g. Fallout 4 1TB bundle), but it looks like there are still plenty of stock on a handful of bundles. All Xbox One bundles below gets a $50 gift code + 1 free game:

Before you get too excited, your freebie game choice includes Microsoft’s infinite supply ofAC: Unity,Watch Dogs, andThe Crew. No doubt Microsoft had some agreement with Ubisoft in offloading its overstock titles into sales promotions.

The $50 gift code shows up in cart automatically and will be delivered to your email address by January 8 (this depends on your order date) and would be good for anything at Microsoft Store such as another controller or game.
