You may have heardthat actual yakuza members reviewed Sega’sYakuza 3. How crazy is that?! In theBoingBoingstory by Jake Adelstein, one of the yakuza members actually calls out Sega for the cuts to the US version ofYakuza 3.
Yakuza member Shirokawa liked Sega’s PS3 game, and his favorite parts were the mahjong side gaming, sexual massage parlors and the hostess clubs. But when Adelstein explained that all of that was cut from the US version, he said:
I feel sorry for the people who bought the American version. SEGA USA sucks.
To be fair,Yakuza 3was a great game, even with the cuts. And Sega is working hard to put all the good, horny stuff into the upcoming US release ofYakuza 4.
