Kinda new, sorta super I’ve seen a lot of interesting mixed reactions to Nintendo downloadable content. Some people claim that the company has gone too far in keeping up with their competition, and crossed a line by offering up DLC — claiming that they’ve sacrificed their integrity for the almighty dollar. Others (such as myself) are of the opinion that as long as Nintendo keeps trying to mix things up, for a nominal fee, their idea of DLC is inoffensive....

Welcome Humans! I am ready for you. A remake forLogan’s Runis in the works, and it’s surprisingly going to be written byBioShock Infinite’smaster guru, Ken Levine. He isn’t leaving Irrational Games or anything like that; he is just writing this as a side project. Deadline called this a project of passion for Levine, who will be joining Bryan Singer, the Producer of theX-Menmovies,House M.D., andJack the Giant Slayer. Singer has been trying to get this movie made since 2004, so I wouldn’t expect it to come out anytime soon, but I am really looking forward to seeing what Levine does with the script....

Kickstarter launched I met League of Geeks’ Trent Kusters at GDC a few weeks back. We just missed each other at Bitsummit just a week before, but I’m glad we were able to finally meet up as I would have missed seeing a really cool game. At Galloping Ghost Arcade in Illinois Allegedly, there are only a handful ofBeavis and Butt-Headarcade machines out there (MTV has one that is only dragged out for tradeshows), and Galloping Ghost Arcade of Brookfield Illinois has one of them. Funnily enough the team needed to buy 3DO hardware to fix it, which means that if that particular aspect ever breaks, they’ll have to find a new one. The moral of the story is — if you ever see it out in the wild, go play it, because it’s a forgotten part of gaming history....
