Crystal Dynamics’ nextTomb Raidertitle has been moved from its crowded Fall 2012 slot to “the first quarter of 2013,” studio head Darrell Gallagherannounced. Telepath Tactics might have been made just for me I always told myself that if I knew how to make videogames, I’d make a strategy RPG in the vein ofFire EmblemorShining Force. I grew up playing games like those and always love to see more like them. Well, it looks like I don’t have to worry about that anymore, sinceTelepath Tacticsis just what I’ve always wanted to create myself. It’s got classic turn based gameplay with over 20 classes, plus terrain altering, local multiplayer, and a ton of possibilities with user-generated content....
But Japan? Who knows. WSJreports that gamers in Asia won’t see Xbox One until late in 2014. Alan Bowman, regional vice president of sales in Asia, said that the system will come to select markets: Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, and South Korea. Notice that Japan is not on that list. WSJ says that Microsoft hopes to leverage its relationship with Japanese and Korean game developers, but just kind of leaves it at that....

And, apparently when you pack four games into one, the result is tremendously big. Artemis Armada One I have always been interested in playingArtemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator, but have never had an opportunity. A team had it set up at Phoenix Comicon a couple years ago, but the room was booked for the whole weekend, so I was only able to sit and watch. Even then, it’s fascinating to see people fail at the asymmetric cooperative simulation. Opportunities to actually play will presumably be much more prevalent atArtemis Armada One, the first ever convention dedicated to the sci-fi indie title....
There’s a change of pace in theCastlevaniafilm coming up. The script is now beingentirely re-writtenby Ian Jeffers, instead of the script that had been written before by Paul W.S. Anderson. If you’re wondering who he is, his other project is the Kevin Bacon film,Death Sentence, which comes out on Friday. With Paul W.S. Anderson off of this project, and now the script that he had comissioned gone, it seems most of his touch is gone from this film....
