Or is it all satire? Having never heard ofElysian Shadows—a 2D RPG that wasKickstartedfor PC, mobile, Ouya, and even Dreamcast — I stumbled across the above video of one of the developers, Falco Girgis, seemingly going off. There are a variety of birds there you can woo, including your best friend; a rock dove, your math teacher; a quail, the stuck up class representative, a fan tailed pigeon etc....

New Dungeon Siege III trailer talks up the 10th Legion

Here’s a new trailer forDungeon Siege III, with animated concept sketches and some gameplay footage. And there’s a dramatic narration about the history of the order to which the player character belongs. Itwill releaseon May 31st in North America. This is a series which I somehow never played, probably due to the setting coming off as fairly standard high fantasy fare. The gameplay appeared palatable enough, though. Is this something I should get myself involved in?...

Sales of boxed games and consoles took a 13% hit in UK

There’s a lot of stuff we like over here in Blighty: Football related thuggery, laughing at Europeans, crap food; it’s an endless list and I’ve really just mentioned the highlights. But you know what we don’t like? Boxes. To show our disdain for these plastic and cardboard prisons we’re buying less and less physical media than ever before, even hardware sales are down. Of course, this is something that’s happening everywhere, not just in the UK....
