Get to know the people that make great videogames Last week on Sup Holmes (now oniTunes) we closed up WayForgust with Matt Bozon, Creative Director at WayForward. We talked about Matt’s start in development as a college student working on the SNES titleMickey’s Ultimate Challenge, the formation of WayForward (a three man team at the time), the pre-internet apartment where they used a fax machine and PC attached to a TV to create games with Jim Henson studios and other big names, and the path to the company’s growth into the +100 person team it is today....

The awesome Corduroy Turtle has recreated our beloved mascot, Mr. Destructoid, in Halo: Reach! Yes kids, you can kill each other to DEATH all in the comfort of Mr. Destructoid. The map is called Castle DeStructoid and was obviously created using the Forge editor. The symmetrical, multi-layered map is built for Slayer and Team Slayer modes. Look in Corduroy Turtle’s File Share on Xbox Live so you may nab the map and make proper use of it during a Friday Night Fight match....

I’m interested to see what From can do with snow Snow isn’t a common theme with theSoulsseries, so it’s interesting that the upcomingDark Souls IIDLCCrown of the Ivory Kingwill take place on an icy tundra. This new batch of screens looks suitably dreary, and I hope it lives up to the bar that was set by the second DLC. This should be the last batch of add-ons for the foreseeable future, and there will be aSoulsrelated break untilBloodbornehits next year....

It’s not long now until Focus Home Interactive’s upcoming RPGOf Orcs and Menis released and we’ll finally be able to witnessthe rebellionof green-skinned people against the Empire of Men. Leading said rebellion is a fierce-looking orc by the name Arkail, accompanied by his stealthy goblin companion Styx. Together they aim to kill the Emperor of Men after the Empire begins to take more land in an attempt to expand. Now, I’vesaid beforethat the orcs in this game look pretty awesome and these new screenshots certainly show-off their awesomeness; apart from the one where the orc is carrying a lady, I have no idea what’s going on there....

Halo on Xbox One is 1 for 3 WhenHalo: Reachwas added to the Xbox One backward compatibility list, I was mondo excited.Reachis easily my favoriteHalogame, with a campaign that eschewed complex mythology in favor of atmosphere and more accessible multiplayer without sacrificing the iconic core of the franchise. Unfortunately, the game runs poorly on Xbox One — to the point where I can’t recommend even popping in the disc out of curiosity....

Be wary of key-reselling website Unknown Worlds has issued a warning to everyone not to buyNatural Selection 2Steam keys from any shady websites. TheNatural Selection 2developers revealed that 1,341 keys had to be deactivated, as they were likely purchased with stolen credit cards. Naturally, many card holders asked for a “charge back” to be refunded. Not only does Unknown Worlds lose the $25 from the original sale, but they also get charged a fee of $22 for the process....

I am a HUGEParasite Evefan, never having forgotten the chills I experienced playing the originalParasite Eveon my PlayStation and wondering just what kind of mutant I was really dealing with.
